During one of my Instagram posts, I talked about going back
to using physical planner as I haven’t been really productive with a digital
one. Today, I’m going to share to you how I plan my week using my Muji planner.
Jot down to do lists,
appointments and schedule weekly classes
To give you an overview, the planner that I got was from Muji and it has a monthly and weekly pages. And within the later, the left side has dots so that you could divide your day in 3 parts. I jot down my AM and PM scheduled appointments or classes on the first two and 3 (important) tasks that I have to do within the day.

On the right side of the weekly pages, gives me more freedom
to write down anything that would happen
within the week. Usually, I simply divide it with three columns as well:
- My weekly to do list (tasks that must be finished within the week, meaning, no particular deadline).
- Blog Posts to write a content, takes photos of, and automate publish both in my blog and in my social media accounts.
- I teach one subject in a university and in this column I jot down the preparation and outline of my lecture for the week, to do lists, etc. Particularly, anything that has something to do with my class.
Other lists
Often times, I add another section on the right side and create a list to keep track of other tasks for the week such as packing list (when traveling), grocery list, and sometimes even a habit tracker when I am starting to learn a new habit.

Use a pencil or
erasable pen
I honestly don’t like seeing a messy weekly planner full of smudges and
erasures. My boss gifted me an erasable pen which I have been using a lot but
once it’s empty, I plan to use a pencil so that I could easily erase tasks or
appointments and reschedule it (when necessary).
Don’t overdo your
lists or daily tasks
It might look a bit overwhelming when you have too much going on. Hence, I only write 3 important tasks on a daily basis and add more to it when I still have time.
